With the changing landscape of Covid-19 and the restrictions across the country, it can be confusing what we should do, when it comes to staying active. Especially when it comes to sending our children out of the home to relieve their boredom, keep them active and make sure that they don’t become socially isolated.
That’s why Century Cricket are working hard to make sure that we keep as many sessions open as possible, whilst still meeting the changing requirements for social distancing and lock down.
We work closely with the England Cricket Board (ECB) and all of the local venues that we work with, to ensure that the latest government guidelines have been met, before we open up a session for Group Coaching. We also work closely with schools to ensure that our coaching methods are in line with the school’s safety guidelines at all times.
Risk assessments are mandatory with the venues and schools that we work with and each venue will have assessed the local guidelines to make sure it is safe for them to open. We make sure that we manage the number of people we accept onto each of our sessions so that we can safely control social distancing measures during each class. Safety for the handling of equipment is also paramount.
If you want to include your child into one of our sessions, please take a look at the Government website to reassure yourself, as well as the other links provided below. Please contact us if you have any questions. We will be happy to give you more details.
We want all of our participants (and their parents and guardians) to have the peace of mind that if we are running a session in your area, we have consulted Government, ECB and Venue guidelines thoroughly and will only run a session if those guidelines tell us that it is safe to do so.
